About Course

The aim of the XRexp project is to bring together companies from several new technology sectors to develop and pilot the production of experiential services at a visitor destination (Finlandia Hall) using new technologies and embedded multi-channel commerce solutions. The project will also develop an innovation ecosystem of cultural operators, XR technology companies and multichannel commerce to accelerate the development of new digital service production. The research objective of the project is to identify the best mix of technologies and terminals for this use and for these target groups. The primary target groups of the project are (1) new technology companies and (2) visitor venues (e.g. event venues, museums, exhibitions, fairs, commercial showrooms). The project will result in a wide range of business-led cooperation and networking activities with a strong regional development impact, stimulating economic renewal. The concepts of the XR-experience path and the embedded multi-channel commerce developed in the project are completely new to the market and, in addition to the immediate novelty and added value they bring to businesses operating in Uusimaa, the XRexp project will create a new regional innovation ecosystem linking several renewable technology sectors
